The identity behind the connection's token. One read-only tool, available to every connected client.

Read · no scope · no permission · GET /me

Return the identity behind this connection's token: the person (null for a machine token), the organization, and the token's own reach. Use it to check which identity and token the client is using. The answer is the same JSON as GET /v1/me and never contains the token, its jti or any secret.

This tool takes no parameters.

Any token the server accepts may call it — it needs no resource scope and no permission, and tools/list always shows it. The identity comes from the verified MCP token, which is never sent to the REST API.
